Strawberry Clafoutis
Strawberry Clafoutis (pronounced CLAH-FOO-TEE) is a simple, yet impressive, dessert full of sweet, fresh strawberries in a light and fluffy custard-like filling. Don't be intimidated by the name....you'll be amazed how ridiculously easy this is to make!

- 1 food processor
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- powdered sugar to sprinkle when finished
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.

- Hull the strawberries and slice in half. Place in a bowl, then toss the strawberries with 1 tablespoon sugar and set aside.
- In a food processor, add the eggs, milk, flour, granulated sugar, teaspoons vanilla, and salt. Give it a quick blend, about 15 - 20 seconds.
- Arrange the strawberries in a single layer on the bottom of the buttered dish and pour the batter over the strawberries. The batter will be very runny.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes. The Clafoutis should be beautifully puffed and golden with no movement in the center.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve warm. Enjoy this for dessert or brunch!
