Crockpot Applesauce

This homemade cinnamon applesauce is so simple and only requires a few ingredients. Serve it cold or warm, either way it tastes amazing!

  • 1 crockpot


  • 6 lbs apples (peeled, cored, sliced)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup water


  • Place the peeled, sliced apples into the bowl of the crockpot.
  • Sprinkle the sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg over the apples and mix well.
  • Pour the water into the crockpot and cover.
  • Cook on high heat for 4 hours.
  • After 4 hours, mix the apples with whisk and stir until smooth, or until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Serve immediately, if serving warm. If serving cold, allow the applesauce to cool completely, then place in a sealed container in the fridge.
