
Crockpot Applesauce
This homemade cinnamon applesauce is so simple and only requires a few ingredients. Serve it cold or warm, either way it tastes amazing!

- 1 crockpot
Ingredients
- 6 lbs apples (peeled, cored, sliced)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Place the peeled, sliced apples into the bowl of the crockpot.
- Sprinkle the sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg over the apples and mix well.
- Pour the water into the crockpot and cover.
- Cook on high heat for 4 hours.
- After 4 hours, mix the apples with whisk and stir until smooth, or until you reach your desired consistency.
- Serve immediately, if serving warm. If serving cold, allow the applesauce to cool completely, then place in a sealed container in the fridge.
